Design, Development and Testing of DC Servomotor Controller for Precise Torque Control

Developed a precise torque control system for DC motors using a current source with analog feedback, enabling smoother haptic feedback. Integrated 32-bit quadrature encoders for accurate motor positioning and minimized wiring through SPI/I2C protocols. The project was part of a research internship under the Mitacs GRI program at TMU, Toronto, Canada, in summer 2024.

'Luminosity drone', an extra-terrestrial life detector drone

The "Luminosity Drone" problem statement required developing an autonomous drone capable of detecting and localizing specific organisms marked with IR LEDs within a defined environment. The challenge involved integrating ROS and ROS2, computer vision, and robust navigation algorithms to achieve accurate species detection and mapping.

RC Race Car

We made an RC car for the event, RC-Escapade, conducted by the Robotics Club of our institute, Techmaniacs, under the techno-cultural fest, Tirutsava of IIT Tirupati

Helsafe

Designed and built smart safety helmets and a dedicated custom communication channel for helmet aimed at professions in which people involved are at risk, like miners and firefighters. It is able to monitor their health and notify concerned people if any mishaps occur.

Square wave inverter

Designed, simulated and implemented the hardware for a low power square wave inverter for powering up an 10W LED table lamp using 12V lead acid battery

3D printed RC plane V1.0

In this project, we made an RC plane with the majority of parts 3D printed (ABS material). The plane didn't fly but we got some valuable insights.

Phone Gimbal V1.0

Stable videos and photos are liked by everyone and gimbals help for the same but commercial gimbals are very expensive so why not make a cheap DIY alternative ourselves.

Remote for Fan and Light

Imagine feeling cold but having no means to slow down the fan in your room as the fan you have in your room is controlled via an IR remote, but the remote is nowhere to be seen.

I had the same problem, so I made a remote for the fan and lights in my room myself.
